Carbon Medical Technologies, Inc. (CMT) is a medical device manufacturer with ISO 13485 certified and cGMP compliant quality systems. CMT operates a certified ISO Class 7 Controlled Environment (clean room) to support the specialized production of medical devices. 

Our clean room is designed to maintain extremely low levels of particulates, such as dust, airborne organisms, or vaporized particles. An ISO 7 clean room is a hard-sided wall manufactured facility that utilizes HEPA filtration systems to maintain air cleanliness levels of a maximum of 10,000 particles (≥0.5µm) per cubic foot. Further, the team wears protective clothing such as gowns, head-coverings, face masks, and gloves to minimize contamination to the clean room environment.

CMT has exclusive access to a proprietary pyrolytic carbon-coating process which provides excellent biocompatibility for a portfolio of implantable medical devices. There are endless possibilities to apply the pyrolytic carbon-coating technology to other implantable medical devices.
